Mr. B has been back east on business a few times lately and was able to squeeze in some visits to his youngest brother and his family.
This would be the brother who bought his daughters a Nintendo Wii for Christmas.
Mr. B loves playing it. BD has been begging for one. Bluegrass Mama thinks it sounds like fun.
So, in order to do our little part to stimulate the economy, we decided to buy one. By the time the credit card bill comes, we’ll have our rebate check in hand to pay it.
I had figured that once the Christmas rush was over, Wiis would be easier to find. Apparently that’s not the case. I hated the thought of trying to find out which stores got some in, then rushing over there hoping to arrive in time.
So I decided that it would be even more beneficial to the economy to support several companies at once. Such as Nintendo, eBay, and the entrepreneur who actually made it to a store while the Wiis were still in stock.
Oh, and FedEx, who should be delivering it tomorrow.

It does sound like fun! I put my name in a drawing for one over the weekend.. if I don’t win won, maybe I’ll show up at your door to play!

looks like I have winning on the brain! …”win won” = “win one” of course…

We got one over a year ago and played it nonstop for a couple of weeks…and I don’t think it’s been turned on since. Don’t know why, because it’s definitely tons of fun.
Oooh! Fun for all the family. At Christmas, my boys all got enough money in presents between them to be able to buy one for themselves. I was so disappointed in them when they wouldn’t pool their resources and buy their poor mother a Wii!
